Statistical Physics Model of EBT Adsorption on Pb(II) doped Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles: Kinetics, Isotherm and Reuse Study

Pb(II) doped zinc oxide nanoparticles (Pb-ZnONPs) was synthesised using the co-precipitation method. The average size distribution of Pb-ZnONPs is 42.8 nm and further used as an adsorbent to remove Erichrome Black T (EBT) from wastewater. adsorption EBT onto best fitted for pseudo-second-order kinetics model, indicating that phenomena depend on Pb-ZnONPs, showing chemisorption phenomenon. maximum potential (qmax = 200 mgg−1) far better than already available adsorbents. high regression coefficient freundlich shows can be shown by multi-layer process. value ΔG° negative temperature increases with increase in absolute increases, suggesting dye spontaneous. decrease concentration adsorbed monolayer (Q0 nNM) 411 43.55 mg/g change revealed process exothermic nature. have exhibited a variation about 7–8% compared fresh sample after 5th regeneration.
